My goal with the guitar series is to create a piece that mimics the guitar shape and size and captures the musician’s personality in glass. I start by researching each musician and the guitar they are noted for playing. I then cut the shape of the guitar to spec out of wood (except for "Thank You Very Much" which was done on an actual guitar) and use the body as the frame for the portrait. A friend referred to me as a "guitartist". I'll take it!
